My parents celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in December. All of the children , grandchildren and great-grandkids wanted to give them something special. We decided they had enough "things" and they would enjoy a family vacation more than anything. It took 6 months to plan and coordinate but it was fantastic. The cabin is large enough to accommodate the whole gang. We were able to cook in the big kitchen and eat in the super sized dining room. The cabin is located close to everything but is secluded enough for family togetherness. The only bad thing was having to leave. Next year, we plan a whole week instead of the 4 days. Plans now are for this to be an annual event.
