This cabin is pretty amazing and very well described. The "road" used to get to the cabin is EXTREMELY steep, curvy, and rough. It was eerie getting there in a four-door sedan, but we managed. As stated, this cabin shares parking with a much larger cabin that is positioned closest to the "road" and has the potential to cause a headache when parking. I think it would be beneficial if Cabins USA designated one parking spot in the shared lot for Anthony Point renters. Surprisingly, the cabin is EXTREMELY secluded from all neighbors. When enjoying the hot tub on the deck, absolutely no civilization is in sight. When sitting opposite of the hot tub, you can see the neighboring cabin through trees and the cabin that is higher on the mountain looks directly upon you but the sense of seclusion is not lost. The hot tub got kind of annoying by not being able to turn it off completely for a period of time. It made nature watching difficult because the noise startled the wildlife. The cabin is very sound proof, however, and we didn't even notice the rain one morning. The kitchen is sufficiently equipped for a weekend stay and the refrigerator was cold. The bathroom was very clean and the "odor" of well water was only noticed with hot water usage. The pool table and accessories have some flaws, but it got the job done. Lady bugs were everywhere...both dead and alive. I think there could have been better housekeeping to remove the dead ones, but it is a cabin afterall. The pullout couch is the most uncomfortable sleeper I have ever experienced and for that reason, I believe this cabin is best suited for a single couple and not shared. The king size bed in the loft was manageable, but not the best if you suffer from back pain. The jacuzzi tub in the loft was fun, but be prepared to wait as it took 15-20min to fill with water. Would I stay there again? Absolutely! If for no other reason than the INCREDIBLE view right out the back door, Anthony Point should not disappoint!
