The C Byrd cottage was just lovely. The living area was cute and comfortable. My favorite area to relax at the cottage was the private, enclosed porch and garden. The patio furniture is comfortable and lots of beautiful blooms! The cottage was well equipped to cook a simple meal. The beds were comfortable and the cottage was in a quiet area.Of course, the big hit of the C Byrd cottage is the easy beach access. It is truly just a 2 block walk to a main beach access. It is in a nice area to ride bikes as well. We rented 2 bikes and a beach umbrella for the week that were delivered to our beach house. It is near a very nice part of the beach.There were a couple of minor problems that were immediately resolved by the Mermaid Cottages group.We take many beach vacations and usually rent a condo or beach house. All in all this was one of the best we've rented in 25 years!!!!
