We were so impressed with the appearance of the property the minute we arrived. It is so cute and so close to the beach! The house was immaculate and was stocked with just about anything we could think of (or wouldn't have thought of!). Bed was super comfy, outdoor shower fabulous (it's located under a grove of giant palm trees!) and kitchen tiny but fun to use. The cheerful decoration of the cottage made staying in fun as well.The only trouble we had was with a door lock and the problem was addressed within five minutes of my call to Mermaid offices with a knock at the door from the gentleman from maintenance.We could not believe our luck with location. This house is just around the corner from restaurants and an awesome ice cream and snowcone shop. It was also a super easy walk to the beach.We plan to return next summer for sure.
