I was more than a little afraid when my youngest daughter wanted a destination wedding and picked Tybee Island last year.Then I found Mermaid Cottages and discovered Cole Cottage. After the deposit I still worried because while the wedding was on South Beach the reception was to be held at Cole Cottage. Only close family and friends were attending so the group was small... but the pictures.We found Cole Cottage exactly like the pictures on the internet!That porch made the reception perfect!I think the very best part was that we did not worry all week, but rather enjoyed early morning coffee on the porch and wonderful days on the Island.I could find nothing wrong with the entire experience!My husband wants to spend 2 weeks next year on Tybee in perhaps a smaller cottage.So Diane, if you are reading this, get ready for my call!Thanks Mermaid Cottages for the most wonderful week and wedding I can imagine.
