The house was wonderful. Just the right size for us. The only downfall was the cleanliness. There was a dirty diaper in a trash can upstairs that gave pause to how well the cottage was cleaned. There also was a dirty ashtray with a cigarette in it on the back porch. The pool was absolutely filthy and the water was cloudy. I don't think anyone came to clean it the entire week we were there. And there was toys clogging the filter when we got there. That was the down side. The up side......We LOVED Tybee! We were within walking distance of the beach and the wagons provided help for carrying all the beach stuff. The house was decorated beautifully. The color scheme was very relaxing and reminded us of the beautiful island we were on. Even when it rained, we were able to set outside on the porch and visit. I would absolutely love to return someday. We were pleased with the kitchen being fully stocked and took advantage of the grill in the backyard too. Overall the good stuff made us forget all about the bad. Thanks for letting us stay there.

As always we appreciate the feedback from our guests. We used this situation as a training for our housekeeping team. We're also delighted that the guests gave us 5 stars for their visit with us! One important note- the pool was not dirty- we just experienced a great amount of rain and the water was cloudy for this reason. There was a large of amount of debris that had also fallen into the pool from that rain just before our guests arrived. Please continue to keep sending us feedback !
