We stayed at Missy's on the Marsh. The home was absolutely beautiful with a true "beach" house theme carried throughout the whole house. The people at Mermaid Cottages were very friendly and extremely helpful. Directions to Tybee and the cottage were emailed before our trip and they were right on the money. The cottage was more than reasonably priced and the rooms were all large. The kitchen was probably my favorite room in the whole house. We were on vacation with my grandmother who is 86, her 75 year old sister, my mother and my sister. The house was not within walking distance to the beach, but it was only a very short drive. The only drawback is that you must pay to park everywhere on the island; the upside is the meters take both paper money and debit/credit cards. Everyone was friendly and the restaurants on the island were excellent. Driving into Savannah was very easy and we enjoyed a few days touring downtown Savannah. I would definitely recommend the Old Town Trolley Tour where you can get on and off at will. The tour was very entertaining. Thanks to the people at Mermaid Cottages our vacation was a worry-free experience that allowed us to make memories to last the rest of our lives!!
