I treated my dad to an 80th birthday celebration by taking my parents, mybrother, my husband, and my two children to Tybee Island for the week. Idiscovered this service through a link on one of my favorite author'swebsite. The service, communication, and billing information waswonderfully organized. The house was better than we imagined. In fact,several in our party kept making comments the whole week about howwonderful the house was and that they couldn't believe how nice it was, etc.I liked how there were several outside areas to sit and relax. I wasexpecting the three bedrooms to be tiny due to the time the house wasbuilt, but they were actually quite roomy. All of us commented on havingthe televisions in each room, although we really didn't get a chance towatch much of it. We were basically 1 1/2 blocks or so from the beach, butit really wasn't very far. These are not big city blocks by any means! Twoneat things my children, ages 6 and 9, like so much about the cottage wereall the cool yard art and sculptures in the yard as well as all the mermaidsin and around the house. We had a wonderful experience and will certainlyuse Mermaid Cottages again!
