Having a customer service background I tend to expect a lot:-) I was not dissapointed here.....the first day we arrived we were greated with homemade cookies that my kids loved. Everytime I had a question there was always someone there to answer it. Our air conditioning went out the first day we were there and one call to Diane and she had someone out that day to fix it....they called to follow up to make sure that everything was ok. I was even able to borrow a muffin pan.The cottage is every bit as cozy as it looks in the pictures! They had a lot of books, DVD and board games to use as well.If you rent this cottage be aware that there is no storage for food other than the refrigerator and the counter....that worked well for us. Also even though you are walking distance to the beach you have to commit for the day.....you are not close enough to just run back. The beach cart was very helpful.....but it was still a walk with the chairs, umbrella, cooler, towels and everything else.....but for us being on a quiet street over looking the marsh was great. You are even walking distance to AJ's Dockside resturaunt...they have great food.The beach was wonderful, we stuck to 12th street...it was never crowded.I would rent bikes the next time we come....it makes getting around easy and you can ride them on the beach!We very much enjoyed our stay on Tybee!
