Nice quiet street, adequate for our needs

This property was ideal for the one month stay we had in Pacific Grove. It isa short 5 minute walk to the centre of PG, and only a little more than thatdown the hill to the Monterey Bay Aquarium.The house is comfortably fitted-out, with a sitting room, dining area andkitchen on the ground floor open-plan, and at the back a small laundryroom and toilet with walk-in shower. There is a double garage but parkingspace for two cars in front of the garage is most convenient. Upstairs thereis a landing area with sofa, table, and a work desk. Both of the bedroomsare well-sized and have large walk-in closets. One has an en-suitebathroom and the other used a bathroom along the landing.All the rooms are bright and airy. The only comment I would make is thatthe kitchen needs renovating. The over/hob is (very?) old, and there is apoor selection of utensils, pots, cutlery, crockery and glassware. The fridgeand microwave are ok. Also, the ironing board is of poor quality.Being a rental-home owner myself, I would say that for the price thisproperty is good. Nothing fancy - TVs are old but there is cable, there ishigh-speed internet but it is not wireless. If I was in the area again for anextended stay I would probably return to this property although hopefullyby then the issues in the kitchen would have been rectified.To sum up, I liked the location, peace and quiet, ease with which the housecould be kept clean, the bright and airy ambience, but on the other side ofthe coin the kitchen....The Monterey Bay rental company was a pleasure to deal with, efficient andquick to respond. I have recommended them to others and will use themagain when the need arises.
