What a find! Cazadero Heaven was just what we were looking for in a long weekend retreat. The cabin was beautifully appointed and really felt like someone put a lot of love into their getaway cabin. The kitchen was fully appointed to facilitate any culinary concoctions you might want to create. The living room was very comfy with the leather sofa and wood stove to keep you warm. Bedrooms were perfectly adequate with comfortable beds and linens. The bathroom was small but adequate for a cabin.Outside the cabin is a very nice deck in the front and back of the house with the hot tub up the hill from the back door. The hot tub was a great treat after a day of fun on the river. Kayaking on the Russian River was our favorite activity. Eclectic towns abound in this area with some good food and great people.We had four adults and one dog and we all had enough space to stretch out and relax. I would recommend Caz Heaven to anyone interested in getting away from the City to their own private stand of redwoods.
