My husband and I spent a couple nights last week at OTTER CREEK. It was a last minute get-a-way, so we only spent a few hours searching the internet - we were hoping to come upon some super last minute discounts, but in California that seems almost impossible. Although I have to say OTTER CREEK was being offered at an 8% discount off the regular nightly rate.Anyways, OTTER CREEK is a cozy cottage crouched among the redwoods near Guernville. The house was very well stock, down to the last detail of napkins on the table. The kitchen is bright and open, the bathroom was roomy with a tub/shower combo and everything was very clean. The couch was comfy and so was the queen size bed. The 2 tv's with cable and DVD players provided varied settings to kick-back and relax. But the best part was the hot-tub, very clean, all set to go and soaking under the trees couldn't have been more peaceful. The proximity to the creek is great and our Golden retriever had a wonderful time. The only draw back for us was the price. As I mentioned previously, so many places have become too pricey too even considered a second stay.
