Villa Maria is GORGEOUS. The rooms are generously sized and beautiful decorated. The view of the ocean is wonderful.However, we had a few problems during our stay. During the first two days we had to continue to call maintenance to work on everything from getting the heating in the pool to work to getting the master bath tub to fill with water. While these were only small issues, they should have been worked out BEFORE we got there so that we didn't have to be concerned with that during our vacation.It took a full day before internet access could be figured out or the fire pit on the patio worked. The pool never heated. . .In addition, we were told that four rooms would have King beds. This was important to us since we were four married couples. One room had two full sized beds instead. The fourth King bed was in a detached room that was not nearly the same caliber and quality as the others.While there are televisions in each of the four bedrooms, we were disappointed to find that they all had to be on the same channel as the main tv in living room. They couldn't be operated separately. . . .this seemed very unusual to us.Our other problem was that the construction in the area caused alot of noise during the daytime so daytime relaxing and napping at the villa was very difficult.Overall we had a great vacation but just wished some of these things had been worked out BEFORE we got there.If you can get these thing worked out BEFORE you get to the Villa then it will be very nice. It is a gorgeous property.
