Having been a visitor to the Cape for 45 years, I found Surfside Cottages in Wellfleet on Cape Cod to offer one of the best vacation opportunities. Not only is it in walking distace to the National Seashore, it is minutes from the 3 freshwater kettle ponds - perfect for vacationers with small children, hiking, bike riding, and from dining, art galleries, and shopping.All of the Surfside cottages are charming, extremly clean, and in good condition, but our favorite is Sea Breeze. It has, along with 3 bedrooms,a kitchen and dining room, ample parking for two cars, a screened in front porch, in indoor and (my favorite) an outdoor shower, an open back porch near a private BBQ grill, and - once again for those with children - nests up to a large play area/sand pit that is off the road and protected.One of the best "amenities" included with the Surfside Cottages are the managers, Lisa and Armand, who are able to make a vacation a special event. They are friendly, reachable at a moments notice, provide a safe environment, and as long time residents of Wellfleet, are able to provide invaluable "tourist information."It was very hard to leave, and we are already looking forward to next year!-Jennifer and Peter McMillanWappingers Falls, NY
