I read about Surfside Cottages in a Cape Cod guidebook. The managers were extremely helpful in describing the various cottages available when we called to make our reservation, and were just as helpful when we arrived. We stayed in Surf Side Cottage 3 for four nights in late May 2009 and loved it. The location is great and the cottage was charming. The rooms and furniture were in excellent condition. The cottage has a fireplace, new kitchen, screened-in porch, skylights, a second floor balcony, a barbeque and a bike room. You can hear the ocean from the porch. The cottage is one block from the ocean and about 1/2 mile from the Cape Cod rail trail bike path. The cottage had EVERYTHING we needed - dishes, corkscrew, fireplace matches. The stairs to the second story are very steep, which would not be good for young children or people with mobility problems. For anyone else, I highly recommend it.
