In April of 1979 I was looking for a housekeeping cottage (so we didn't have to eat out every meal) as close to the ocean as I could get that had a fireplace, heat and allowed dogs. For our family, this is perfect for pre- and post-season stays. It is very quiet and remote at those times of the year. We've been staying at Surfside for 30 years.
